Board Shorts For Men

Although board shorts for men are really built for men and they do make board shorts for women, a woman can of course wear board shorts for men.  It seems as though there are not many choices for women when it comes to board shorts and that leaves women to having to pick up a pair of board shorts for men or have to result to wearing something else all together which just wont work out as well.  As most women know, board shorts for men would not be the first item that is made for men that women will buy and wear.  For example, many women will shop in the men’s clothing department for things like sweats, tee shirts, sweat shirts, jackets and some times even jeans!

Since we do know that they do make board shorts for women, why are women buying the board shorts for men?  The answer to that is because there are not many women that surf and there for there are not many companies that make board shorts for women and there are even fewer stores and shops that carry them.  Board shorts for men might be made for men but that’s not going to stop women surfers from picking up a pair of them!  Of course that’s not the only reason why women are wearing board shorts for men.

Because board shorts for men have been around a lot longer than board shorts for women the board shorts for men have much better quality and they are known for coming in many more color options and even great prints as well.  You didn’t really think that those board shorts for men with the big pink flowers on them were really made for a guy did you?  The truth is that they have been making board shorts for men in prints that women would like to wear for a very long time but because there isn’t much demand for board shorts for women they try to keep the prints and colors fairly neutral.

The bottom line is that although board shorts for men are built for men and not women that there is nothing wrong with a woman wearing the board shorts for men and often times they will come in women friendly prints just for that reason.   Board shorts for men are likely to be built a little tougher than the board shorts for women and that makes them a much better buy any way.  Of course you can also think about buying you and your significant other matching board shorts for men as well!  I am sure that would look really cute walking down the beach.
